F4’s on Alert at Tainan Air Base. Aircraft were flown in from Clark Air Base Philippines by 405th Tactical Fighter Wing Pilots every week or two to stand alert. The 6214th Munitions Maintenance Squadron loaded these aircraft with the “Big Bombs.” |
